This center annexed to the well-known Abaix Fountain is located at the entrance to the historic Renaissance villa of Fonz and it was prepared on the initiative of its Town Hall and the Cinca Medio County.

The center consists of two areas connected by a stairway; the upper area has an exhibition hall showing original elements proceeding from the restoration completed in the nineties to the Renaissance Spout Fountain located at the Grand Plaza. It also contains other original elements and a series of panels that provide information about the different fountains, springs and underground water conductors existing in the municipality of Fonz. 

A second subterraneous area accessed by a stairway allows a visit to cisterns from the 16^th century. These rainwater collection tanks (aljibes) supplied water to various houses - palaces belonging to the nobility and to the entire Fonz population.
