During the spring and summer months, the major festivals of all the municipalities take place. All are characterized by parades, floats, choosing an honorary "lady of the party", and the traditional appearance of the big-headed characters at the start of the festivals. Popular music fills the air as bands play outside, comedy skits are performed also. Additionally, during the festival season various folkloric fairs featuring Aragonese music (la Jota for instance) are held - principally in the Monzón area.
